ARMENIA COMPLEMENTARY POLICY NOT EXHAUSTED, ROBERT KOCHARIAN BELIEVES
The complementary policy pursued by Armenia is not exhausted, to the contrary, there is much opportunity to continue it. Armenian President Robert Kocharian stated it at a meeting with journalists of a number of Armenian TV companies. In his words, time has shown that official Yerevan has chosen a correct policy line. This is proved by the fact that Armenia's neighbors in the region are trying to follow a similar policy. To make sure of that, in R. Kocharian's words, one only has to acquaint himself with the materials of Ilham Aliyev's latest visit to Moscow, as well as with statements of the current and former Georgian leaderships over regional processes. "The interests of superpowers do not necessarily have to collide. They can combine for the welfare of all of the region," the President of Armenia said. If Georgia and Azerbaijan also pursue such policy, stability guarantees in the region will be stronger and finding solutions to conflicts here - easier in the future, R. Kocharian summed up.
