Heritage MP: RPA committed false start by early campaign launch

PanARMENIAN.Net - Heritage opposition party member Larisa Alaverdyan noted no new ideology in the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s speech during the 13th congress of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).

“No new statement on political, economic and anti-corruption plan for the party’s further activity was issued,” the MP said, adding that RPA committed a false start, launching early election campaigning, which is inadmissible.

Dwelling on Armenian singer Shushan Petrosyan's statement on her intention to join RPA electoral list and run for parliament, Larisa Alaverdyan said, “National Assembly is not the authority to enjoy public trust. Thus, I consider involvement of figures that are not linked with authority unnecessary.”

The MP said that Heritage will present majority electoral system lists not earlier than March 18.
