BAKU RESPONSE TO CRIME IN BUDAPEST CONFIRMS KARABAKH CANNOT BE PART OF AZERBAIJAN, NKR FOREIGN MINISTER SAID

PanARMENIAN.Net - The response of the Azeri society and political figures to the brutal murder of an Armenian officer by an Azeri serviceman in Budapest "has again apparently confirmed the impossibility for Nagorno Karabakh being part of Azerbaijan." NKR Foreign Ministry head Ashot Gulian stated it in Stepanakert today. In his words, the crime is not condemned in Azerbaijan and, as it was after the pogroms of Armenians in Sumgait, they are trying to justify the murderer. The Minister noted that "Armenophobia has become state policy in Azerbaijan, and the total Azeri society is consecutively becoming contaminated." "Recently the NKR authorities repeatedly drew the attention of international structures to the anti-Armenian hysteria in Azerbaijan, but they never took the corresponding measures," the Minister stated.
