ARMENIA'S ECONOMIC GROWTH CONTRIBUTING TO IMPROVEMENT OF LIVING CONDITIONS AND EFFICIENCY OF ARMY IS HIGHER THAN AZERBAIJAN'S
Contributing to the improvement of the living conditions of the population and to the efficiency of our army, the economic growth in Armenia today is higher than in Azerbaijan, RA Prime Minister Andranik Margarian stated in his interview to Nezavisimaya Gazeta Russian newspaper. Azerbaijan certainly possesses natural resources and oil, while Armenia is lacking in it. Besides, our communications and roads are blocked by Baku and Ankara and we do not have any hopes that the blockade will be raised in the near future. Nevertheless a tendency of the economic growth can be noticed in Armenia, A. Margarian resumed. Mining, processing and light industries are actively functioning in the country. There are also some priority directions such as high technologies, chemical industry and jeweler's art and diamond industry, Armenian Prime Minister noted.
