ARFD member deems further cooperation with Heritage possible

PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of ARF Dashnaktsutyun parliamentary group Vahan Hovhannisyan did not rule out cooperation with Heritage fraction in future parliament following the elections, noting that ARFD cooperates with the current fraction of Heritage regarding many issues.

“Though not all the issues and tactical decisions of the Heritage parliamentary group were acceptable for us, cooperation with opposition forces should always be considered. However, in case we win the elections, the issue of our cooperation will be settled from another perspective,” Mr. Hovhannisyan said, deeming the party’s victory in the parliamentary race a possible scenario.

For his part, ARFD parliamentary group secretary Artyusha Shakhbazyan commented on Heritage party’s possible views in future parliament given its union with Free Democrats. He added that the latter stands for the Armenian-Turkish protocols while Heritage and ARF Dashnaktsutyun strongly oppose it.
