  US AND AZERBAIJAN PLANNING JOINT EXERCISES ON STRUGGLE AGAINST TERRORISMMarch 15, 2004 - 19:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Deputy to the Commander-in-Chief of the US Armed Forces in Europe, General Charles Wold refuted the rumors about Washington's intention to deploy US military bases in Azerbaijan. As the General told journalists in Baku, the US is only discussing the issue of organizing joint maneuvers with the Azeri naval and land forces aiming at the coordination of measures against terrorism.
