PanARMENIAN.Net - Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili considered "deceit" statements by ex-President Eduard Shevardnadze that the building and exploitation of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil pipeline "will bring prosperity to each Georgian family." As Saakashvili stated at a meeting with journalists yesterday, the building of the oil pipeline is of high importance to Georgia, specifically from the point of view of attraction of investments, strengthening its strategic role. However, statements that all Georgian families will flourish, in his opinion, are "myth and self-deception."
