PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia and Russia have a large potential to increase the commodity turnover volume and promote economic relations, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov stated at a meeting with head of the Armenian Government Andranik Margarian in Moscow today. In his words, as reported by Russian media, as compared with the last year, the commodity turnover between the two countries increased 30% and it makes $200 million today. At that Fradkov noted the need for undertaking additional efforts to include the unused opportunities, as it is by no means the pinnacle. Among the priority guidance of the cooperation between Russia and Armenia he marked the interaction in the energy and gas branches, high technology, as well as the military and technical spheres. It should be noted that A. Margarian is in Russia for his first official visit as Prime Minister. "We would like for it to become a new landmark in the Russian-Armenian relations very much," Fradkov emphasized.
