AZERI OPPOSITION CALLS LEADERSHIP TO REFUSE FROM OSCE MEDIATION IN KARABAKH CONFLICT SETTLEMENTJuly 21, 2004 - 19:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Democratic Azerbaijan (DAB) opposition bloc appeals to the leadership of the country to refuse from the mediation of the OSCE Minsk Group in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, member of DAB Political Council Samir Asadli told Interfax agency. "The Minsk Group is expected to do real deeds but not to make unfounded statements. However the co-chair do nothing to settle the Karabakh conflict", the document notes. "Therefore, the Azeri authorities should refuse from the OSCE assistance and resolve the problem on their own" the DAB statement says.![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
