ARMENIAN TAX OFFICERS DISCLOSED 603 ILLEGAL ENTERPRISES

PanARMENIAN.Net - During the six months of the current year the officers of the State Tax Administration (STA) have disclosed 603 enterprises acting without state registration. As a STA official told Arminfo agency, the number has increased with 200 organizations as compared to the same period last year. The total sum of penalties came to 60 million AMD. According to the source the effect was achieved thanks to the activities of the recently formed commission for office investigation. Hence, during the first half of 2004, 25 operations for revealing illegal enterprises shielded by tax officers were carried out. As result 43 officers of the Tax Administration have been called to account.
