TECHNICAL CENTER ON REALIZATION OF VIRTUAL SILK ROAD NATO PROGRAM OPENED IN YEREVAN

PanARMENIAN.Net - Technical center on the realization of Virtual Silk Road NATO program opened in the State Engineering University in Yerevan today. The aim of the program is to create a computer network between research and scientific educational institutions of 8 South Caucasian and Central Asian states providing them with access to Internet. Armenia is taking part in the program with the help of Arena NGO, which will get access to Internet via a satellite antenna and then render it to the higher education institutions and scientific and research institutes of Armenia.
