WHEN PRESIDING IN OSCE BULGARIA WILL EXERT EFFORTS FOR KARABAKH CONFLICT SETTLEMENTSeptember 18, 2004 - 20:36 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - During the three months left till the expiry of the mandate of Bulgaria's presidency in the OSCE, the country will spare no effort for the contribution to the settlement of existing conflicts, OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Bulgarian Foreign Minister Solomon Passi stated. In his words, special representatives of the organization will be sent to the conflict regions. Thus, newly appointed special envoy Philip Dimitrov is to leave for Nagorno Karabakh, Mr. Passi reported. "We should be optimistic and share this optimism with all the representatives of the parties to conflict", he noted. The Chairman-in-Office expressed hope that these conflicts well be settled in the near future by means of joint and coordinated efforts of the international community and with Russia's support.![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
