  US ARMENIANS COLLECTED $11 MILLION FOR NORTH-SOUTH HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION IN NKRNovember 26, 2004 - 18:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - During yesterday's TV marathon Armenians of the US western coast contributed $11 million for the construction of the North-South highway in Nagorno Karabakh. The most significant contributions were made by Luis-Simon Manukian, Gerard Gafesjian and Eduardo Ernekian. Simultaneously the collection of funds was arranged in Nagorno Karabakh, where more than $150 000 was gathered. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
