NEW GENERAL PLAN OF YEREVAN PROVIDES FOR RING ROAD CONSTRUCTION

PanARMENIAN.Net - According to the new general plan of Yerevan, a ring road, which will relieve the traffic in the central streets of the city, is to be built, director of the Yerevanproject Institute Gurgen Mushegian reported. The ring road will start at the Abovian Park and reach Avetisian Street (the Arabkir prefecture) through the rebuilt Saralandzhi Street and then join the Davidashen Bridge. Thus, joining with Isakov Avenue through Leningradian Street it will form a ring, which will be immediately connected with the main highways leading out of the city. The cost of the project is to comprise $80-100 million.
