PanARMENIAN.Net - Lithuanian delegation headed by Defense Minister
Gediminas Kirkilas is arriving in Armenia today. The visit will be held on the invitation of Secretary the National Security Council at the President of Armenia, Defense Minister Serge Sargsian. Kirkilas will meet with Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II, Prime Minister Andranik Margarian, Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defense Vartan Oskanian and Serge Sargsian, the head of the Parliamentary Commission on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs. April 5 Gediminas Kirkilas will visit the Military Institute after Vazgen Sargsian, will meet with the professor staff of the Institute and will also acquaint himself with its activities. April 6 the Lithuanian delegation will visit Tsitsernakabed, where it will lay a wreath to the Memorial of Victims of the Armenian Genocide. Visits to the Matenadaran depository of ancient manuscript and the National Picture Gallery are also planned. The Lithuanian delegation will leave Yerevan April 7.
