FRANKFURT MEETING FORMAT PROVIDED FOR OSCE MG MEETING ONLY WITH AZERI FM

PanARMENIAN.Net - The format of the Frankfurt meeting provided for the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs' meeting only with Azeri FM Elmar Mamedyarov, Armenian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hamlet Gasparian stated when commenting the Zerkalo Baku newspaper report that Elmar Mamedyarov had noted he "did not know why Vartan Oskanian did not go to Frankfurt" and stated "the agreement on the meeting with the OSCE MG Ambassadors was reached earlier." "The Co-Chairs had made it public beforehand," he stated. In his words, according to an arrangement the mediators will meet with Armenian FM Vartan Oskanian in a European city. "We are just surprised with this very plain situation being muddled up by Azerbaijan, its Foreign Ministry and Elmar Mamedyarov himself. Of course Elmar Mamedyarov knew where he was going and whom he was to meet with," the Armenian Foreign Ministry Press Secretary stated.
