VARTAN OSKANIAN MET CONDOLEEZZA RICE

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian met US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, RA MFA press service reported. The parties discussed wide range of questions referring to the Armenia-US cooperation and pointed out to the dynamic development of bilateral relations and healthy political dialogue. Ms. Rice highly appreciated Armenia's participation in war on terror and programs targeted at reconstruction of Iraq. Besides, they considered the domestic situation in Armenia and democratic reform process. Vartan Oskanian familiarized the US Secretary of State with the latest developments over the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement. The interlocutors exchanged views on situation in the South Caucasus and adjacent regions as well as the Armenian-Turkish relations. Tomorrow the Armenian FM will depart for Beijing on a formal visit.
