ARMENIAN FM LEFT FOR BRUSSELS TO TAKE PART IN CONFERENCE ON IRAQ

PanARMENIAN.Net - On the invitation of US State Secretary Condoleezza Rice and NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian will take part in an international conference on Iraq that will be held in Brussels June 21-22, reported the Press Service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry. FMs of 80 countries, including those of US, European countries, Central Asia, as well as UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan and representatives of other international organizations also take part in the conference. The conference main subject is international community efforts aimed at restoration of Iraq and securing economic progress in the country, as well as matters of international assistance to the Iraqi newly elected authorities.
