SERGE SARGSIAN: IT'S TIME FOR DUAL CITIZENSHIP

PanARMENIAN.Net - "The representatives of the Armenian Diaspora, who wish to have Armenian citizenship, should have the suffrage and serve in the Armenian army", RA Defense Minister Serge Sargsian stated when addressing third Pan-Armenian youth jamboree. In his words, the issue of dual citizenship should be settled, however it can cause other problems. If the representatives of the Armenian Diaspora enjoy the rights of RA citizens they should bear the responsibility and fulfill obligations. If obligations are limited the rights should be limited as well. "I think the time for applying the institute of dual citizenship has come", Serge Sargsian noted, Yerkir Online reports.
