Samara Region Interested in Developing Cooperation with Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Robert Kocharian today met with Governor of Russian Samara region Konstantin Titov and the delegation led by him, reported the Press Service of the Armenian leader. The President noted with satisfaction that the cooperation between administrative subjects of Russia experienced a phase of active development lately. K. Titov said they are «interested in expansion of relations with Armenia» and pointed out considerable cooperation potential. The interlocutors also discussed matters of mutually favorable cooperation in diverse fields. It was noted that the holding of the Year of Armenia in Russia in 2006 will be a good occasion especially for activation of humanitarian ties. The parties underscored the importance of using the potential of local Armenian community.
