  Kocharian and Birkhofer Discussed Issues Referring to Energy System of ArmeniaOctober 18, 2005 - 19:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Today Armenian President Robert Kocharian met with Chairman of the Council of Nuclear Energy at the President of Armenia and Director of German Nuclear Safety Institute Adolf Birkhofer, reported the Press Service of the Armenian leader. The interlocutors discussed matters referring to the energy system of Armenia and reforms implemented in the field. The parties specifically exchanged views over measures to enhance the safety of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (NPP).Besides regional energy programs were discussed. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
