British International Development Department Delegation to Arrive in Yerevan November 28November 24, 2005 - 17:23 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Martin Dinham, Director of Europe, Middle East and Americas Division (EMAD) at the UK Department for International Development (DFID) will be visiting Armenia from 28 to 30 November 2005. Mr. Dinham will be accompanied by Melissa Harrold, Deputy Team Leader for Central Asia, South Caucasus and Moldova (CASCM). The purpose of the visit is to familiarize themselves with Armenian government policies and the current development programs. During their visit Mr. Dinham and Ms. Harrold will have meetings with the Ministers of Territorial Administration, Foreign Affairs and Finance and Economy, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly and the Chief Economic Adviser to the President. The team will also meet DFID Armenia projects implementing parties as well as representatives of donor organizations and civil society. On completion of their visit Mr. Dinham and Ms. Harrold will travel to Tbilisi on the afternoon of 30 November, stopping on the way for a short visit in Gavar, administrative center of Gegharkunik region of Armenia, to meet the Governor and the local DFID project office.![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
