PACE RAPPORTEUR TO VISIT NAGORNO KARABAKH VIA THIRD COUNTRY

PanARMENIAN.Net - The rapporteur of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on the Karabakh issue Terry Davis may go to Nagorno Karabakh via a third country - Georgia. After telling it to "525" Baku newspaper, T. Davis said that he would visit the region after the presidential elections in Armenia - in late February or early March - and would pay a call to Armenia, Azerbaijan and Nagorno Karabakh. At the same time the rapporteur did not rule out that going to Karabakh through Tbilisi might be impossible. In this respect he noted, "If I go to Karabakh through Azerbaijan, this does not mean support to Azerbaijan. Similarly, my trip through Armenia does not mean support to Armenia." In T.Davis' words, the report on the conflict will be ready after his trip to the region.
