Yerevan and Sofia Activate Euro Integration CooperationFebruary 14, 2006 - 18:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia and Bulgaria intend to activate cooperation within the EU framework, stated Armenian Parliament Speaker Artur Baghdassaryan during a joint news conference with Bulgarian People's Assembly Georgi Pirinski. "Beginning in January 2007 Bulgaria will become EU full member and political dialogue with that country and its experience of EU integration are important to Armenia within that context," the Armenian Speaker said. In his words, interaction like that provides for cooperation between the two countries in international and European organizations. In his turn Georgi Pirinski expressed readiness to strengthen cooperation with Armenia's representatives.![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
