  Kocharian met with US Assistant State SecretaryMarch 16, 2006 - 13:01 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Robert Kocharian today met with US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Daniel Fried. OSCE MG American Ambassador Steven Mann was also present at the meeting, reports the Press Service of the Armenian leader. During the meeting the parties discussed regional issues, including Armenia's energy security. The interlocutors discussed the situation over settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and further steps to solve the issue. Besides, the parties touched upon matters of the Millennium Challenge Account.  Top stories Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
