Armavia Airplane Fleet to Be Replenished with A-319 New LinerMay 18, 2006 - 19:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Today the fleet of Armavia air company planes was replenished with a new A-319 liner, produced in 2004, reports the Press Service of the company. The flight will start executing regular flights soon. According to Armavia policy, the company does not exploit airplanes produced before 2000. The air company plans to buy a new Airbus and another plane produced in the US, which take aboard 50 to 70 passengers. At present Armavia has over 60 regular flights a week in 30 directions in 13 countries of the world. After putting the new A-319 into service the Armavia fleet comprises 6 planes - one A-320, two A-319, as well as Yak-40, Yak-42 and IL-86 airplanes. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult.
