Baku Proposals on Karabakh Talks Mismatch Today's Reality

PanARMENIAN.Net - Offering autonomy to people, who have been governing their life on their historical lands for two decades is self-delusion, Armenian FM Vartan Oskanian said at the opening of the first session of the UN Council on Human Rights in Geneva. Speaking of the current stage of the talks on the Nagorno Karabakh settlement, the Minister remarked, "If Azerbaijan's behavior fitting the formula "a step forwards two backwards" caused concerns, Azerbaijan's proposals to provide autonomy out of the essence of specific talks mismatch the reality at the international arena. We hope the talks will progress in the direction, which will give hope for lasting peace," Oskanian said, reports the Armenian MFA Press Service.
