National security strategy ratification significant political event

PanARMENIAN.Net - The ratification of the Armenian National Security Strategy is a political event of national and regional significance, RA Defense Minister Serge Sargsyan said when commenting on the ratification to his Spokesman Seyran Shahsuvaryan. In his words, the success of independent interdepartmental elaboration of the RA National Security Strategy in accord with modern demands is important. "I am grateful to the Russian Security Council Secretary, U.S. Security Secretary and NATO experts for consultations and methodological assistance in elaboration of the main political document of our state. At that I would like to note the understanding and respect demonstrated by our foreign partners to our right and will to work out our national document that determined the system of internal and outer jeopardy to Armenia's security and means of parrying them as well as the strategy for ensuring safe, sustainable and democratic development of the Armenian society," Serge Sargsyan said.
