Latvian Foreign Minister Artis Pabriks to arrive in Armenia April 19April 12, 2007 - 18:48 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Latvia and Switzerland will consider the possibility of joint participation in different projects in Caucasus, Latvian Foreign Minister Artis Pabriks (People's Party) offered yesterday after having met with Swiss President Micheline Calmy-Rey, currently in Latvia with an official visit. While joining in cooperation on regional development Latvia as a priority chose former Soviet republics to the East from the European Union. In its part Switzerland participates in different projects in the region, IA Regnum reports. During the meeting the sides were unanimous that joint efforts of the both countries might become a huge contribution towards reaching positive results. Artis Pabriks also informed Micheline Calmy-Rey that the next week he will visit Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
