RA President to pay formal visit to Egypt

PanARMENIAN.Net - April 14 Armenian President Robert Kocharian will depart for Egypt on a 2-day visit, the RA leader's press office reports. The delegation will include Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian, Minister of Trade and Economic Development Karen Chshmaritian, Minister of Culture and Youth Affairs Hasmik Poghosian.



In Cairo the RA leader will meet with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, Prime Minister Dr Ahmad Nazif and Parliament Speaker Ahmed Fathi Sorour as well as with Secretary General of the League of Arab States Amre Moussa and LAS Ambassadors.



Besides, President Kocharian will attend the Armenian Embassy and lay wreaths to the monument to Unknown Soldier and Egypt's former President Anvar Sadat.



Afterwards, the Armenian delegation will head for Luxor, where the RA President will meet with Governor Samir Fatig.



A dozen of agreement on bilateral cooperation are supposed to be signed during the visit. The delegation will return to Yerevan April 16.
