Oskanian: OSCE will decide level of next meetings

PanARMENIAN.Net - No agreement on a presidential meeting was achieved upon the outcomes of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs' visit, Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian told reporters September 18.

"The meetings with the Co-chairs were productive but a number of uncoordinated issues are still on the agenda. These were discussed during the meeting with Armenian President Robert Kocharian, who presented his standpoint. Presently, the Co-chairs are in Baku to listen to President Ilham Aliyev," he said.

"If the mediators catch a likeness in Aliyev and Kocharian's positions, they will think over the further optimal steps. We have to wait for the outcomes of the Baku meetings and then the Co-chairs will decide whether to hold meetings at the level of Foreign Ministers or Presidents. However, their decision may be different," the Minister resumed, IA Regnum reports.
