DELEGATION OF US ARMED FORCES EUROPEAN COMMAND VISITED ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - October 10-11 the US military delegation headed by chief of department of policy and planning of the European Headquarters of the US Armed Forces, major general Jeffrey Cohler visited Armenia. As Armenian defense ministry press service told "Arminfo" agency, in the course of the delegation members' meetings with high rank military leadership of Armenia questions relating to the current process and the prospects of the Armenian-American military cooperation were discussed. In particular, the parties exchanged views regarding preparation and conducting "Cooperative Best Effort-2003" military maneuvers in Armenia next year. They also pointed out the necessity to continue the cooperation in the sphere of modernizing communication and mine clearing.
