Congressmen demonstrated high moral quality with passing Armenian Genocide Resolution

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian parliament speaker, Tigran Torosian thanked U.S. Congressmen for adoption of the Armenian Genocide Resolution.



"We thank our American counterparts, who demonstrated high moral quality with passing Armenian Genocide Resolution," the speaker said Thursday at a parliamentary session.



October 10, with a vote 27 to 21 the U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs adopted the Armenian Genocide Resolution, H.Res.106, which was introduced by Representative Adam Schiff January 30, 2007. The measure is co-sponsored by 226 Congressmen.



A non-binding resolution, it's not supposed to be sent to Senate or to be signed by the President.
