PACE RAPPORTEUR VISIT TO NAGORNO KARABAKH CONFLICT REGION POSTPONEDSeptember 25, 2002 - 23:36 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - To all appearance, the visit of the rapporteur of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Terry Davis to the region of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict will take place at the beginning of 2003. The rapporteur himself told it in his interview to RFE/RL. In Davis' words, he does not intend to hasten the visit to the region and is not going to make unforeseen and harsh decisions. At present he is looking through the documents on Nagorno Karabakh presented by the Armenian and Azeri parties. As PACE Armenian delegation head Hovhannes Hovhannisian told "Arminfo" agency, within the framework of the PACE autumn session the Armenian party meeting with Terry Davis was planned. Questions of preparing the report on Nagorno Karabakh will be discussed at it.
