  It's time for Israel and UK to recognize Armenian GenocideJanuary 31, 2008 - 15:58 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Ambassador to UK attended an event in memory of Holocaust victims. In his address Ambassador Vahe Gabriyelyan drew parallels between the Holocaust and the Armenian Genocide, adding, "It's high time for Israel and Britain to recognize the Armenain Genocide as the first genocide of the 20th century."The event was organized by the Barnet community and brought together the Holocaust survivers and members of the Jewish community of London, the RA MFA press office said. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
