Television basic source of information on candidates' election campaigns

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Yerevan city office has published explanations on the legal acts regulating the order of advertisement placement. To maintain the capital's image the city office calls to stick posters and circulate agitation materials where it's allowed by the local authorities and according to the rules on advertisement placement.



"Television is the main souse of information for the population. 70% of Armenian voters get information from TV programs. Then come private conversations among the population (19,7%), newspapers and radio 16,5% and 6,3% respectively. Rallies have little influence on the public opinion (4,6%)," director of Sociometer center Aharon Adibekyan said, Armenian media reports.
