IMF TO GIVE $27 MILLION CREDIT TO ARMENIASeptember 20, 2002 - 19:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The International Monetary Fund will give a credit of $27 million to Armenia. Minister of finance and economy of Armenia Vardan Khachatrian told "Arminfo" agency about it, adding that the final decision on that would be passed at the sitting of the IMF Council of Directors in Washington September 29. In his words, all funds will be spent on replenishment of the Central Bank external reserves.![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
