State of emergency lifted in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - The 20-day state of emergency was lifted today in Yerevan.



Yesterday, President Kocharian said imposition of state of emergency prevented a grave popular shock.



"No violations were fixed during the past 20 days. I am hopeful that no incidents will follow," the President said, adding that law enforcers will prevent unauthorized protest actions.
