  Swiss MPs hope for peaceful resolution of Karabakh conflictOctober 10, 2008 - 20:19 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Members of the Switzerland-Armenia parliamentary friendship group met in Yerevan with representatives of Nagorno Karabakh."Switzerland stands for a peaceful resolution of the Karabakh conflict. We welcome all initiatives for protection of rights and security of Karabakh people and for establishment of stability in the region," Ueli Leuenberger, co-chair of the friendship group, told a news conference in Yerevan. In the framework of the visit, the Swiss MPs attended the Armenian Genocide Memorial, met with the RA President and Parliament Speaker as well as with opposition representatives. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
