Azeri President Heydar Aliyev stated it at the meeting with Iranian deputy foreign minister Mohsen Aminzadeh in Baku. Speaking of the coming meeting with Armenian President Robert Kocharian on August 14, Aliyev stated about his intention to make another attempt to achieve a success in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement. At the same time the Azeri leader called upon Iran to influence Armenia, with which it has rather active economic relations. In response to that M.Aminzadeh said that he had held consultations with the representatives of the OSCE Minsk group in Paris and had presented the IRI position to them. "We offered our efforts and hope that the question will be solved in the near future," - M.Aminzadeh noted.Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
