PanARMENIAN.Net - The communication monopolist in Armenia-«ArmenTel» company not only hampers the development of the information technologies of the country but, in fact, also robs the budget of the country. «Armcomputer» firm head Vahram Mkhitarian has stated that. According to him, «ArmenTel» has concluded contracts with foreign phone operators, according to which the payments for the international phone calls, that are the company's main part of the profit, goes directly to OTE, leaving out «ArmetTel», taxation services and correspondingly the budget of Armenia. As «Arminfo» agency notes, the policy of the« turning the screws», recently conducted by «ArmenTel» is connected with the oncoming war in the telecommunication sphere of Armenia. So, according to informal information, one of the largest telecommunication companies in the world has recently taken an interest in Armenia and that did not remain unnoticed by «ArmenTel». The aggressive policy now conducted by «ArmenTel» toward local main ISPs aims at barring the opportunities to work through other operators. So, one of the main banks in Armenia was denied the communication. The problems between «ArmenTel» and the main ISP of the country, «Arminco» company have recently arisen.
