RA President paid a working visit to Gegharkunik marz

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan paid a working visit to Gegharkunik marz and learned about social and economic situation of region, the President's press office reported.



Governor Nver Poghosyan briefed the president on agricultural works being conducted. Taking into account the experience of 2008 when farmers were not able to sell their goods due to high cost price, president instructed to help farmers to sell agricultural goods in fall. They also discussed other regional social and economic issues.



During the visit, President Sargsyan also participated in discussions on Lake Sevan. Vladimir Movsisyan, Head of Committee on Lake Sevan issues, said all presidential instructions of 2008 are included in the development program are being implemented. He also outlined 16 priority issues.



Completing the visit, the President gave appropriate orders to governor, the leader's press office reported.
