Armenian and Iranian leaders agreed to coordinate process of investigation into recent plane crashJuly 15, 2009 - 22:41 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - In a phone conversation with Iranian leader Mahmud Ajmadinjehad, RA President expressed his condolences in connection with the recent air crash which killed many Iranian citizens. In his turn, Iranian President expressed condolences to his Armenian colleague. Both Presidents agreed to coordinate the process of investigation into the crash, RA President's press service reports. The plane belonging to Caspian Airlines Company crashed down today, while carrying out flight No. 7908 in Tehran-Yerevan direction. The plane carried 153 passengers, including 2 children. Among 15 crew members, there were citizens of both Iran and Armenia. None of them survived. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
