ARMENIA ABLE TO EXPORT ENERGY TO SUM OF $100 MLN A YEARApril 30, 2002 - 23:29 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia is able to export energy to the sum of $100 mln a year. As "Arka" reports, Armenia energy minister Armen Movsisan has stated about this at the press conference today. According to him, at the present time energy to the sum of $5 mln is exported to Georgia. "We conduct works in order to increase the export and first of all the export to Iran", said the minister. He noted that in the future there would an opportunity to export energy to the Middle East countries having lack of energy. Movsisian thinks the increase of the export volume will enable to improve the Armenian energy system considerably.
