KURD REBELS READY TO RECOMMENCE WAR AGAINST TURKEYMarch 26, 2002 - 21:18 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The leaders of the Kurd rebels have threatened Turkey stating that they will recommence the war in the country if Kurdistan Workers Party leader Abdullah Ocalan is kept in prison. As «Arminfo» agency reports with reference to «Associated Press» the Kurd rebels reached this decision at the congress taking place at the border with Iraq. The decision to rename the KWP and to name it «People's Party of Freedom» was reached at the congress. This was done in order to register the organization and have an opportunity to participate in the elections.
