ARMENIA AND TURKEY SHOULD SOLVE PROBLEMS NOT ATTRACTING THIRD PARTIES, TURKISH PARLIAMENTARY CONSIDERS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia and Turkey should solve their problems without attracting third parties. Member of the Turkish delegation of the economic committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Ahmet Iymaya told journalists in Yerevan. He noted that both countries should solve their problems via direct negotiations. According to his estimates, the parties' confidence to each other will increase and "better prospects to normalize relations between our countries" will be created. Iymaya emphasized that Armenia and Turkey should not "stir the past" and should try to approach it in a way to make it "contribute the welfare of the two peoples in the future." A.Iymaya noted Turkey is viewing neighboring Armenia as a friend. The Turkish delegation member expressed an opinion that the problems existing between Armenia and Turkey should be solved at a separate conference with both countries' representatives participating.
