Chairman of defense, internal affairs and national security commission of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Hovhannisian stated it in Yerevan in the course of the meeting with Latvian parliamentary delegation headed by Chairman of Armenia-Latvia friendship deputy group Edvins Inkens. As reported by Department of Public Relations of the Armenian Parliament, the interlocutors also discussed questions of compulsory and alternative military service and financing armed forces.
