USA WISHES TO WITNESS ESTABLISHMENT OF JUST AND STABLE PEACE BETWEEN ARMENIA AND AZERBAIJAN

PanARMENIAN.Net - Washington wishes to witness establishment of just and stable peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This statement was made by US Ambassador in Baku Ross Wilson. Baku sources report that in his opinion it will not be correct to put a sign of equality between what is going on in Pankis canyon and Nagorno Karabakh. Thus, one should hardly expect arrival of US special forces to carry out an antiterrorist campaign in Nagorno Karabakh, the diplomat noted, adding that the United States only comes for peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict. At the same time he denied the reports that US representative in OSCE Minsk Group Rudolf Perina had made a statement that the parties to conflict have already agreed on 80% of the main issues connected with Karabakh conflict settlement. In his words, it is either misinformation or the journalists misunderstood R.Perina.
