Regular court refuses to release Nikol Pashinyan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Regular court refused to release Nikol Pashinyan as a parliamentary candidate, reported the press service of the Armenian National Congress (ANC).



"Deprivation of liberty of a parliamentary candidate is possible only with consent of the Central Election Committee," the ANC said in a statement. "This decision is a violation of the RA Constitution."



On December 5, the RA CEC registered Nikol Pashinyan, the editor of opposition Haykakan Zhamanak newspaper as a parliamentary candidate.
