Vote suspended at polling station 10/19January 10, 2010 - 17:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The vote is suspended at polling station № 10/19 located in the school number 114 after Kh. Dashtents at the moment. According to the head of the electoral commission Gagik Baghdasaryan, the normal course of elections is prevented by some journalists. The representative of the RA CEC Zoya Tadevosyan responsible for supervising the elections, claims the opposite and requires to continue the elections. She argues that the actions of the commission head, who seized and stored the lists of voters, are illegal and not covered by the Electoral Code. Zoya Tadevosyan also reported that the two acts were composed about violations during the elections, which were not introduced to the registration journal by the head of the commission. Earlier journalists were beaten at this polling station. Currently two additional representatives of the RA Central Electoral Commission are at the site to resolve the situation. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
